Coaching Certification Pathway
CMFSC continues to provide a program to enable our coaches to become certified under the National Coaching Certification Program ( NCCP).
CMFSC provides the Community Coach Children, Community Coach Youth, and Community Coach Senior technical certification courses through our Technical Director/Head Coach. Coaches must:
- Apply online through the BC Soccer Website www.bcsoccer.net
- Pay for the course on the first day with a cheque
- Attend all sessions and complete the course
- The club will reimburse the coaches upon completion of the course
Each year we will look at hosting a CCC, CCY, and CCS held through Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club per year based on how many coaches need to obtain their certification. Information about the times will be posted on this website.
Community Coach Youth - Mandatory for all U11 Coaches in the Association to register and complete the Community Coach Youth course by the end of the U11 season. If the coach is new to the club, they must register for the next course offered through CMFSC.
Community Coach Senior – Mandatory for all Select/Metro & Gold Coaches to have their CCS before September of the U14 Select/Metro/Gold Season. All Coaches in the U14 age group (Silver A and Silver B level) and above need to work towards their CCS License and be completed by the start of the U16 season.
B-Prep: B-Prep: We would like all Select/Metro Coaches aspire to complete the B Prep, B Provincial license and further if they are motivated.
