CMFS Directors
The position of Director for Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer (CMFS) has the responsibility, along with the other CMFS Directors, of setting policy for the Club. Outside of the CMFS Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Special General Meetings (SGM), only Directors may vote on matters concerning CMFS. In addition to regular duties pertaining to their position, a Director of CMFS is expected to attend monthly CMFS Executive meetings and Directors meetings as well as any other meetings directed by the Board of Directors.
The position of Director for CMFS will be voted upon at the CMFS AGM. The term of office for each Director’s position will be two years with the exception of the positions for Directors-at-large which shall be for a term of one year. If, for some reason, a Director is unable to fulfill their obligation, the Board will advertise within the Club for a candidate to finish the term and select a suitable replacement. Failure to meet the obligations expected of CMFS Directors as outlined in this policy may result in the Board issuing a formal verbal warning or expulsion from their position.
